A silky champagne chocolate ganache, surrounded by pink butter cream, perfectly dusted with fine powdered sugar...placed, by hand, in delicate paper cups inside a pink and white striped miniature hat box, finished with a hand tied golden bow... that, is a Charbonnel et Walker Pink Marc de Champagne Truffle.
That, is poetry.
For those of you who don't know, pink champagne and chocolate are the only two things I love as much as lamp shades. And I couldn't waste another moment keeping that kind of heaven to myself. Now, at LiT, you can get a pink box of loveliness for yourself. Just arrived from the Chocolatier in the UK, I allow myself one per week. Unless I'm having down day, then, it's only medicinal to have another. I hope you will do as I do, and slowly unwrap the ribbon, place one lovingly on a pink glass plate, pour a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rose, turn down all the lights-except the oh-so-cute table lamp you had done up with a LiTshade, and delve into one of the best eperiences life has to offer-chocolate et champagne.
