What better time to start Fashion Friday then in the wake of New York's Fashion Week. Thanks to instyle.com I have chosen a fabulous amethyst and thistle mini dress by Chanel, which pays homage to her basic beginnings while still adding a modern twist using deconstructed details. This outfit's coordinating LiTshade is the petite, ellipse done in Kelly Werstler's lilac print.
Based on this bit of purple a colorful thought to leave you with this Friday from the very wise and clearly fashionable ancient Roman poet Horace, "Often a purple patch or two is tacked on to a serious work of high promise, to give an effect of color."
Have a good weekend and see you Monday!
